Affordable pink lipsticks - affordable series part 6

Hi sweeties! Part six of the affordable series! It's going really fast!
I blogged about the red lipsticks I liked and now I'm going to talk about (hot) pink lipsticks.
I don't really have many hot pink lipsticks but the ones I have are cute and affordable. I have two lipsticks by Catrice and one by NYX.

F.l.t.r.: Catrice "Pink me up", NYX "Eucalyptus", Catrice "Pinkadilly Circus".

All of the tubes are really similar; black tubes, pink stickers at the bottem. Only the NYX lipstick has a little more decoration on the cap of the tube.

And here are the swatches. As you can see the middle lipstick (the one by NYX) has a blue undertone, something that you don't see with the other two lipsticks.
The lipsticks are obviously very well pigmented, easy to apply and matte, I like them that way. These are my three personal - affordable - favourite (hot) pink lipsticks. I hope you enjoyed!

Affordable blushes - affordable series part 5

Hey lovelies!
Today I'm continuing my affordable series. I'm going to be writing about my favourite, affordable blushes. As you see, they look very simlar in the pictures. I love orange toned blushes a lot and pink doesn't suit me, that's why.

The two blushes that I love the most are by different brands. The first one is the one that I've had the longest. It's called "Apricot Smoothie" and it's by Catrice. It's a duo blush that's well pigmented. I got it from a friend and I fell in love with it! I'm close to hitting pan.

The second one is by Essence, it's - just like the first blush - an orange toned blush. This blush is called "It's popul-art" and it's from the "Vintage District" collection. It did have a really nice gold glitter overspray but unfortunately that's already gone.

Just wanted to show the picture where the gold overspray was still there... Pretty, huh?

As you can see in the swatches the blushes are very similar, this one is just a little bit more pigmented than the first one. Aside from that they're pretty similar.

Both blushes are very cheap, well pigmented, and loved by me!
Stay tuned for more affordable products!

OOTD: Candy bag!

Hello you guys!
A few weeks ago i went shopping. I found this 'swing' dress at H&M and I fell in love with it, perfect for summer! I feel like a little bag of candy when I'm wearing this dress!

I decided to wear it the day after getting it and I also ended up taking pictures. Unfortunately it was raining so the pictures are taken inside again.

I combined my colourful dress with a turqoise cardigan and black shoes.

What do you think of this outfit?

Barrol roll hairstyle

Hello everyone!
Even though I'm not really good with hair, I have been trying some hair do's! Most of the time I'm doing the barrol roll hairstyle because I really love the look of this one!
I have been practicing a lot and it's still not 100% but oh well. So far I only wear it at home.

Me back when I still had red hair.

Me today! I do still need some practice, obviously!

What pin-up/vintage hairstyle do you like most?

Affordable gel eyeliners - series part 4

Hello lovelies!
I'm back with my affordable series! In this part (part 4 already!) I'm going to talk about affordable gel eyeliners.
Eyeliner, especially winged eyeliner is - as you probably know - a big part of vintage ladies and pin-up girls' makeup routine.

Today I'm going to show you the two gel eyeliners that I use. They are really inexpensive and the quality is good.

The first eyeliner that I have is by MAX. MAX is one of the cheapest, if not THE cheapest makeup brand that I know. They have quite a few products and even though they are so inexpensive doesn't mean their products aren't good. I really enjoy using their products.
The gel eyeliner that I got from them is called "Pure Black". Oh, and it's waterproof!

On the right is my eyeliner by Essence, this is a pretty cheap brand as well. The eyeliner that I got from Essence is called "Midnight in Paris". I got this one a lot sooner so it's logical that I almost hit pan!

As you can see, I only just started using the one by MAX. It's creamy, really dark black and so nice to use. It also came with a brush (not that it's super good quality but okay). The one by Essence is nearly empty - it has also dried out a little bit.

And here are the swatches. As you can see the MAX one is just a bit darker and creamier, but the Essence one certainly isn't bad either. I've been using these eyeliners for months and months and I'm still convinced they're the two best gel eyeliners I've ever had!

No more red hair.

This is what happens when your sister tells you you'll look like Dita Von Teese if you dye your hair black!

Hi everyone! As you all know I used to be a redhead. I loved it and after 4 months of not touching it up it still looked pretty good.
Friday afternoon, when I just got out of school, my sister got the idea to get her hair dyed before leaving for a party. So I went with her. And I got my  hair dyed as well!
I have always wanted black hair but my previous hairdresser refused to dye it black because she thought I'd look too pale. Well erm, I'm pale anyway!

So here are the pictures!
The picture on the left is me right now and the picture on the right is how I used to look. I'm so excited about my black hair even though I miss my red hair a little bit but okay!
What do you think? Which colour do you like best?

Affordable neutral palettes - series part 3

Hello sweeties!
Today I'm going to continue my affordable products series! I'm going to be talking about affordable neutral palettes. Neutral palettes are a must if you're going for the vintage/pin-up girl look. But you don't want to be spending a lot of money just to look decent! Here are some of the neutral palettes that I own and I love them very much!
Cheap and good quality!

The first palettes are the ones that I use the most. You can see it as well, I've hit pan on almost every palette in the picture.
The first palette, below on the left is by Paris Memories. The palette is called "Shade 29". It holds a beautiful champagne colour, a taupe colour, a skin coloured eyeshadow and a dark brown eyeshadow. I don't use the dark brown, it just broke. I do use the other colours and I absolutely love them! Good for a casual day but also really nice on special occasions.

Above my Paris Memories palette is a neutral palette by Essence. It's called "To Die For" and holds four neutral brown toned colours. Basic colours, great pigmentation, really cheap! I've been using this one a lot lately!

Next to it is my FM palette, this palette wasn't in stores but I got it at a homeparty, from a makeup artist. Just like the Essence one it holds really cute basic colours. The palette was $15 which isn't that cheap but okay... The pigmentation is really really good and I just love wearing these colours.

And then I have a palette by Hema, which is only available in Belgium and Holland I believe. I've completely ran out of one of the colours, which is a bit annoying because this is probably my favourite of all the palettes. It was my first palette and all the colours suit me, which is rare. Perfect for porselain skin ladies.
