Affordable red lip products - series part 2

Hello sweeties!
Today I'm continuing my affordable products series. I'm going to be talking about red lip products today. I have quite a few of them (all drugstore) and there are great drugstore products out there! Today I'm showing you my three favourites!

They're by Rimmel London, Catrice and Miss Sporty. The last one is only available in Holland, I'm sorry if you don't live there.

If you are interested in beauty and makeup, the first product will be familiar, I think. It's one of the lipsticks from the Kate Moss for Rimmel London collection. There were many many beautiful colours but I only got the bright red one, because that was the one that I was most interested in. It's called "Kiss of Life". The colour is insanely pigmentated!

The second one is a stay matte lip cream by Catrice. It's like a lip gloss, only matt. The colour is really bright (even brighter than the one by Rimmel London). It's called "Silky red".

Next I have my Miss Sporty lipstick, which is called "Malaga". It's just a tiny bit less pigmentated than the one by Rimmel London and looks a little bit brighter.

And here are the watches. The one by Rimmel London is my favourite one, I've been wearing it the most. I only just got my Miss Sporty one in the middle so I'm going to have to test that and the lip cream is one that I only wear when I go out, it's perfect because it's brighter than everything else and it stays longer. Just watch out because this one gets on your teeth easily!

Affordable eyebrow products - series part 1

Hello! Today I'm going to start off my "affordable series". I'm starting with eyebrow products, because I'm obsessed with them myself and I'm always interested in eyebrow products.
Recently, I have been testing quite a few eyebrow products and some of them were really amazing. And affordable! That's why they're in today's post.

One of the steps after drawing and/or filling in your eyebrows is cleaning everything up with concealer. I'm not going to mention concealers in this post because there's another post in the "affordable series" coming up about that!

Let's get started!

I use two eyebrow kits and one eyebrow pencil. The first eyebrow kit is by Essence, as you can see the colours are more brown toned. This kit holds 3 eyebrow stencils, a little angled brush and a little piece of paper that tells you how to do everything.
The second kit is by Catrice, these colours look not as harsh. This kit holds a mirror, a teeny tiny tweezer and a little brush.
The eyebrow pencil is by Catrice as well. It's the medium colour and I love! It works really well for me. Maybe it would've been nice if they made a little sharpener but I have one so for me it wasn't really a problem.

So here are all the swatches. I added number so that you could see everything clearly but the numbers are rather small now that I look at them. Well okay the first two colours (on the right of my wrist) are from the Essence kit, the next two are from the Catrice kit and the small line is a pencil swatch.

VoilĂ , here you have my favourite, and very affordable, drugstore eyebrow products! Would you like to see an eyebrow tutorial? How I draw/fill in my eyebrows?
Let me know!

Affordable series: introduction

Hello you guys! Today I want to introduce something new to you: my "affordable" series.
As a young girl who still goes to school and is trying to save up money for college, I know that makeup is something I want, but I can't always afford the best of the best, just because I think over $50 is just too much and maybe I should spend it on something else than foundation or lipstick products.

That's why I thought of the affordable series. Every once in a while, I'll put up a post with cheap but good quality products that I have bought and tested myself! Products that I think have a good price and very good quality as well. I will go over a lot of products such as foundation, concealer, lipstick, eyeliner and so on!
If you have any requests, let me know!

Love always

Outfit of the day: Turqoise Choise

Hi everyone! Yesterday I went shopping and I just wanted to show you the outfit that I was wearing. In this picture I have heels on but I think it's obvious that I traded those for flats when I was running in and out of stores.
This outfit is nice and casual but still cute and feminine. I love how the pants accentuate my curves.

My cardigan and pants are from a store called C&A (local), the donut roll that I have in my hair is by H&M,  my shoes are from New look and my shirt is from a thrift shop. The ring was a present.

My eyebrow products!

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to write about the products that I use for doing my eyebrows. I cannot even begin to explain how important eyebrows are, they are like the "frame" of your face. There are a lot of gorgeous people out there who have amazing eyebrows that don't require any work but unfortunately I'm not one of them.
I have to fill them in and adjust the shape too sometimes. I know there are a lot of people out there who do this too so I decided I would just go ahead and show you the items that I have been liking for my brows!

This is how my eyebrows currently look - in close up. You can clearly see that I used a pencil and eyeshadow (or browshadow, haha!) here.

All of the products I use for my eyebrows are drugstore.

The first thing that I think is very important is a good eyebrow pencil for a nice shape. I own one by Catrice. It also has a brush on the outside to make the lines less harsh but be careful not to rub it all off.
Next I have an eyebrow stylist set by Essence (the two eyeshadows). Three eyebrow stencils and a brush came with it but I don't use the stencils and the brush is a little too small. That brings me to the third product: a brush!
I have a teeny tiny brush to apply my eyeshadow with. I also use that brush for my concealer.
Concealer? Why would you use concealer?
Well some of you might know it already but it can be nice to use concealer for shaping your eyebrows and to erase harsh edges. I always do this step last and I find that my eyebrows always look "cleaner" when I've used concealer.

Et voilĂ , those are my eyebrow products!
Do you have any eyebrow products that you'd like to recommend?

My favourite red lip products!

Hi sweethearts!
I wear red lipstick on a daily basis and lately I have found two red lip products that are so good I decided to do a post on them.  Both of the products are drugstore so they are budget proof, but the quality is amazing as well!

The first red lip product that I have is the lipstick from Kate Moss by Rimmel London. It's called "111 Kiss of life" and it's the perfect cherry red! The lipstick has great pigmentation and stays on the whole day. You do need to re-apply it after eating.
I payed €9.45 for it, which is a pretty good price for such a good product.

The second product, I got last Friday but I'm really impressed by it already!
It's the Essence stay matt lipcream in "Silky Red". This is a bit like a lipgloss, it's just not sparkly or anthing, it's matt instead. The colour is - just like "Kiss of life" - outstanding. The lipcream is easy to apply.
It stays on a really long time and only needs a little bit of touching up after eating. Even after trying to wipe it off there was still a red stain on my lips.
I payed €1.99 for this product so you could really say it's a budgetproof top product!
